More than 500 beneficiaries graduate from the Free livelihood and skills training offered by the Bogo Livelihood and Technical Skills Training Center of the City of Bogo (Bogo LITES Center) in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The graduates received their certification for successfully undergoing training in the following courses:
✔️ Dressmaking NC II for 275 hours
✔️ Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) NC II 268 hours
✔️ Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II 268 hours
✔️ Cookery NC II
The Graduates compose of mostly Bogohanons but is also included by residents from neighbouring towns.
In behalf of City Mayor Carlo Jose Martinez, City Administrator Antonieto Suico extended his Congratulations to the graduates. Also in attendance were Bogo LiTeS coordinator Engr. Elenita Ursal, DILG Officer Michael Eltanal, Drrmo Rex Leoben Ygot, Taskforce Hipos head, Ret. Col. Romeo Dignos with the special attendance of Mr. FLORO T. RINGCA, Ph.D.M.T. ARD TESDA 7/Provincial Director TESDA-Cebu.
Bogo LiTeS is an institution accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the TESDA and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
